This Safe n Simple 12 drainable, one-piece pouch is an extended wear pouch that features a convex skin barrier, Velcro closure, and belt tabs. Extended wear ostomy pouches are best for liquid stool or urine, following an ileostomy or urostomy. These pouches are more resistant to liquid and can be worn longer than standard wear ostomy pouches. One-piece pouches have the skin barrier and pouch pre-attached. They are less bulky and noticeable and have fewer assembly steps than two-piece pouches. A convex skin barrier curves outward towards the skin around your stoma to increase the depth of the barrier.
